Who will I be dealing with?
You will deal directly with the business owner Peter Williamson, who will provide you with personal, professional, efficient, high quality service.
Are you qualified to give me structural advice?
Owner, Peter Williamson is a qualified Professional Structural Engineer. He has a Bachelor of Engineering university degree backed by 45 years of experience in building inspections and structural design. He has extensive practical experience, including large civil, commercial and residential construction. He has personally carried out most of the trade work to build a second story on his own home. Peter can also give you on‑the‑spot professional advice on any plans that you may have for structural changes to your new home.
How can I avoid paying twice for peace of mind?
If structural issues are observed during a building inspection, most other building inspectors are not qualified to give you professional advice regarding the structural integrity of a building. In this case they will recommend that you call in a Professional Structural Engineer for a second, qualified opinion and Peter is often asked to provide definitive professional advice in such circumstances. However, this means that the purchaser has found themselves in a situation where they must pay for two building inspections when they could have paid once.
How do I know that I will receive the best possible service?
When you are looking through the property you are purchasing, you are viewing it mainly in terms of the lifestyle that it will deliver to you, and you may therefore miss important structural and/or maintenance issues. When we are inspecting the property, we are viewing it through trained and experienced eyes and will identify issues that you may have missed.
Your report is personally prepared by Peter. It is emailed to you and your agent by the commencement of the second business day following your inspection. Your report is then printed, bound and posted to you. It is a professionally presented, easy to understand, descriptive exception format with photographs to clarify details and concepts. It is solution oriented and will make a clear distinction between structural and maintenance issues and their implications. This enables clear interpretation of reported issues by you and your agent/s in relation to your purchase contract.
We have been told that we produce Perth’s highest quality per-purchase building reports.
